Most of our dogs are healthy, happy and need a loving "Forever Home"; but some need ... Can you help?
More Than A Home
Harlee is a special needs baby that needs your help.....
Harlee is just one of the many orphans in our sanctuary program, Harlee has a degenerative spine and needs a wheel chair for walking.
Meet NALA...
Nala is a wonderful girl who was evaluated as an aggressive dog that circles when she walks because of being kept in a small cement run, before coming to our founder. This is totally not true.
Nala is a beautiful Blue girl with neurological problems. Nala's brain does not communicate with her back end as quickly as it should and sometimes the front end of herself starts and has to wait for the back end to catch up. Nala also needs time to focus, at times she is blind until her eyes have a moment to focus in, especially when she first wakes up.
Nala would benefit greatly with Water Therapy & CranioSacral Therapy. Can you help with her treatment? We cannot do it without you.
Say Hello To...
Cagney and Clarence ~
CAGNEY NEEDS YOUR HELP, he is hospitalized with lung and heart issues, he is currently on meds after numerous x rays, blood and treatment for his condition, further testing is being done this week, starting with a ultrasound. PLEASE HELP US HELP HIM.
UPDATE: Cagney has DCM and is in need of your generosity for his medical expenses and treatment, please help us help him. Clarence is still waiting for his eye surgery, please don't turn away and click off, please click on the donation button and help these two orphans receive a chance at life. We cannot continue our work without you.
UPDATE 7/21/08 Thanks to a wonderful woman, Clarence will be having his surgery, in memory of her sister, Suzie Q, we will rename Clarence, Raphael, meaning "God has healed", after the archangel who healed the blindness of the elder Tobias. Raphael had a bad vet experience with a tech and bit, he needs very quiet lifestyle in a quiet home. Cagney is still in need of your generosity so we can continue his treatment.
Warner is a very large, active, harlequin boy with cropped ears. He is 4 years old. Warner arrived off of transport "bloating" and with emergency surgery. . Warner has arthritis in his rear legs which we are treating with supplements. Warner is too much dog for the average adopter, he does not realize his size or strength. He needs to be with someone that knows not all Danes are Scooby Doo's, He does try to be boss from time to time and needs a confident person.. Warner is a very loyal and loving boy. He loves to cuddle with you in bed. He loves to ride and travel with his foster dad. He walks well and proud on a leash. He cannot go up and down stairs.
We would like to thank UAN for their grant towards his medical bills. We still need help with his medical bills, to date they are well over $4200.00. All donations go directly to the care of our dogs.
This rescue has NO administrative costs, NO promotional costs - we have loving volunteers and donors who donate their time and money! Please consider helping defraying some of our medical bills! Please, we need your generosity to continue helping Warner and all the other orphans of AATGBR.
